HYS-RAMESES-DYNASTY

Hyksos-053 ==============

IF the bible is falsely translated, then what would make the information from Josephus any more credible? If the bible is not packed with mis-information, here we find the family of Joseph were given land in an area named after Rameses.

Genesis 47:11 And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

Exodus 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

Numbers 33:3 And they departed from Rameses in the first month

053a Wasn't Ramseses the name of a whole line of Egyptian Pharaohs?

053b Is the bible false?

053c Would Hyksos rulers name their land after an Egyptian King?

"Ramesses I was the founder of the 19th Dynasty " http://www.touregypt.net/19dyn01.htm

053d IF the Egyptian Pharaoh booted the Hyksos out of Egypt in the 18th Dynasty and there were no Ramseses until after that, how could Joseph and the gang be given areas in a land named after a Pharaoh named Rameses?

==================

Common sense

Genesis 47:11 And Joseph placed his father and his brethren... in Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses,

a) The Israelites entered a land, named after a famous pharaoh.. Rameses
b) NO land is named after a famous person until after that person exists.
b) Ahmose drove the Hyksos out of Egypt in the 18th dynasty
c) There was no Rameses until the 19th dynasty

18th Dynasty 1550-1295 BC

Ahmose ... drove out the Hyksos.. died Amenhotep I ... died Thutmose I ... died Thutmose II ... died

Hatshepsut ... died

Thutmose III ... died

Amenhotep II ... died

Thutmose IV ... died

Amenhotep III ... died

Amenhotep IV ... died

Neferneferuaten ... died

Tutankhamen ... died

Ay ... died

Horemheb ... died

****************************

19th Dynasty 1295 - 1186 BC

Rameses I born, grew up, land named after him

Three hundreds after the death of Ahmos (who drove out the last Hyksos) ..

Three hundreds after the last Hyksos were driven out of Egypt, the Israelites (less than 80 total) entered Egypt and moved to the area named after Rameses.

Of course the Israelites could not have encountered Ahmos or any Hyksos kings before him. There were no such things as Israelites 300 years before Rameses. The first Israelite ever to exist was Reuben (first son of Israel/Jacob)
Of course it would be impossible for Ahmos to be an Israelite.

Israelites traveled into a land named after Rameses, 300 years after the mythical Hyksos were driven out of Egypt.
