In the next make believe history of the events of ancient Egypt, another story is:

*  There were three DIFFERENT groups, Israelites, Hyksos and Egyptians.

*  The Hyksos had driven the Egyptians south.

*  The Hyksos ruled mid/northern Egypt when the Israelites came

 

058a If this were the case, the Israelites never encountered the Egyptians.

 

058b The Exodus accounts are events that took place between the Israelites and the Hyksos (the Egyptians were out of the picture)

 

Genesis 37:2  ... Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren;

Genesis 50:26  So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old.

 

110 - 17 = 93 years of Joseph hanging out in Egypt

 

Genesis 41:41  And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Genesis 41:42  And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck

Genesis 41:43  And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

 

All that is believed about the Hyksos comes from the mythical stories of Manetho.

Manetho states that Ahmose drove the Hyksos out of Egypt.

Ahmose died 300 years before there was a city of Raamses

 

Raamses: Romanized  Ra`mcec, Pronounced rah-mes-ace' or Ra`amcec {rah-am-sace'}; of Egyptian origin; Rameses or Raamses, a place in Egypt:

 

Exodus 1:11  Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses

 

The Israelites were slaves forced to work on the city of Raamses (which did not exist until 300 years after the Hyksos were driven out of Egypt)

 

058c The Hyksos drove the Egyptians south and it was the Hyksos the Israelites encountered. no this boat will not float.

 

058d The Israelites were the Hyksos, no this boat will not float.

 

The Israelites worked in the city of Raamses over 300 years after the Hyksos were expelled.

 

058e When the Israelites were in Egypt they worked on a city dedicated to Raamses. This would have been in the 19th Dynasty.
